- 400g Casa Della Pasta Maria’s Pan Fry Cheese Gnocchi
- 75g unsalted butter
- 10-12 fresh sage leaves
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for serving on the side
- Place the Casa Della Pasta Maria’s Pan Fry Cheese Gnocchi in a large, non-stick frying pan. There’s no need to boil this type of gnocchi first.
- Add the butter to the skillet. Place the pan over medium heat.
- As the butter melts, it will begin to foam and then turn a nutty brown color with a fragrant aroma. This process will take about 3-5 minutes. Watch it carefully to ensure it doesn’t burn.
- Once the butter is brown, add the fresh sage leaves to the pan. They will sizzle and become crispy.
- Stir in the Casa Della Pasta Maria’s Pan Fry Cheese Gnocchi gently to coat it in the brown butter and sage. Continue to cook for another 5-7 minutes, turning the gnocchi occasionally, until it is golden brown and slightly crispy on all sides and heated through.
- Season the gnocchi with freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Serve the pan-fried cheese gnocchi immediately in bowls, with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and EV olive oil on the side for sprinkling as desired
